Wash U offers housing to medical professionals fighting coronavirus

Washington University in St. Louis is offering temporary lodging to health care workers who are treating COVID-19 patients, KSDK reports.

An on-campus executive and conference center is housing medical professionals who want to avoid going home to keep their families safe.

Meals are also provided for workers through a contactless delivery service.

Currently, about 50 people are being housed by the university.

It really does feel like college again living in a dorm room, especially since I’m on the same campus as I was many years ago now.

These accommodations give heath care workers peace of mind while they distance themselves from their families.
