Education association reports progress by MU on diversity, inclusion

The American Council on Education released its second report on recovery from the 2015 racial unrest at the University of Missouri.

It explores how the university has increased its capacity for diversity, equity and inclusion, or DEI, over the last five years. The report documents leadership training, resource investment and engagement with the local community.

With these improvements, an assessment of the university’s capacity to effectively respond to issues like racial unrest improved to “moderate” in 2019 from “low” in 2015.
