American Girl Doll announced on Wednesday it would permanently close its Overland Park store, the Kansas City Star reports.
This follows the closing of the St. Louis location in 2018. The Atlanta and Denver locations are also closing permanently.
The Kansas City location first opened in 2010. The company owned a 9,500-square-foot space in Oak Park Mall.
Following the closings there will be 15 American Girl doll stores in the country.
“The closures are a necessary step to optimize our store portfolio and accelerate our expanding e-commerce business,” General Manager Jamie Cygielman told the Kansas City Star.
