Target joins other retailers in adopting a mandatory mask policy, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Following Walmart’s announcement of a masking policy, many other retailers have also adopted similar policies.
Among the latest stores to do so are CVS, Dierbergs and Schnucks. They join a growing list of stores with mask policies, including Best Buy, Kohls, Krogers and Starbucks.
Exceptions will be made for young children and those with medical conditions preventing them from wearing masks.
These retailers hope that the masks will slow the spread of the virus while still allowing them to stay open.
