As St. Louis schools plan to move back to the classroom, new guidelines are being released, KMOV reports.
St. Louis County Executive Sam Page said he spoke to Gov. Mike Parson about schools reopening. Page said Parson still wants students to return to the classrooms.
For public schools, the guidelines depend on the school district. Some districts are offering students the option of taking online classes or attending in-person classes with safety protocols in place. Others are planning to transition into in-person learning through phases or implement a hybrid system with partial remote learning.
Over 100 Catholic schools in St. Louis have announced that learning will resume in the classroom this fall.
