Suit retailer Men’s Warehouse filed for bankruptcy Sunday, the New York Post reports.
The retailer’s parent company, Tailored Brands, filed for Chapter 11 protection in Houston after reaching a deal with its lenders. The deal allows for the company to keep 1,400 Men’s Warehouse stores open as it works to reduce its debt by $630 million.
In July, Tailored Brands announced it planned to close 500 stores and reduce its corporate workforce by 20%.
There are 12 Men’s Warehouse stores in Missouri. The retailer’s plans for stores in the state have not been disclosed.
