Shoppers in Missouri will be able buy school items without sales tax this weekend during the state’s annual sales tax holiday.
This year’s event will look different than in past years due to coronavirus restrictions on store occupancy in some places, KPLR reports.
Items such as electronics, clothing, school supplies, graphing calculators, computer software and laptops are eligible for tax-free status.
The event will also cover items purchased online during the weekend.
More than 150 towns and cities across the state have opted out of the tax-free weekend.
