State parks in Missouri welcomed 14% more visitors in 2020 than they did the year before, according to a Missouri State Parks report.
The total of more than 21.1 million visitors in 2020 was the highest for the state since 2017 and ranked second over the last 10 years.
Four parks attracted more than 1 million visitors, while the top 10 each saw more than 700,000 visitors.
The most visited park was Roaring River State Park in Cassville, which drew more than 1.4 million visitors last year. Bennett Springs State Park, Table Rock State Park and Lake of the Ozarks State Park also all topped 1 million visitors.
