It’s not yet clear what he’ll announce, but Missouri’s top lawyer is heading to the site of a failed sweetener plant in Moberly on Tuesday.
Attorney General Chris Koster has scheduled a news conference Tuesday morning at the site of Mamtek USA’s never-finished plant on the outskirts of the central Missouri town. Koster has been investigating the collapse of the project, which left the City of Moberly on the hook for $39 million in bonds. A spokeswoman declined to say what Koster would announce Tuesday.
