Employees of the General Motors assembly plant in Wentzville are being required to mask up again, the Detroit Free Press reports.
The decision comes in light of rising daily cases of COVID-19 locally and statewide, mostly driven by the delta variant.
The plant’s workers were required to wear masks starting with Monday’s third shift.
The plant has held on-site vaccination clinics for its employees in the past, with another scheduled for next week. The Wentzville location employs nearly 4,000 workers.
