Lodging Hospitality Management Will Renovate St. Louis Airport Marriott

Lodging Hospitality Management said Wednesday a $15 million renovation of its St. Louis Airport Marriott hotel will begin this fall.

A new lobby, a redesigned fitness center, concierge lounge and bar — plus renovation of all 600 guest rooms and suites–are part of the project. Improvement to meeting space also is planned. LHM bought the hotel in July for $29 million.

The hotel, built in 1972, is across Interstate 70 from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. The hotel project is getting a boost from the town of Edmundson, which has approved property tax abatement, a community improvement district and a transportation development district for the hotel site.
