Annual Cerner Health Conference Begins Saturday

The annual Cerner Health Conference in Kansas City includes major sessions focusing on “the health care industry’s most debated issues, such as population health, quality outcomes, and health care reform,” planners said.The North Kansas City company, which digitizes health care records, estimated that 10,000 people will attend the conference, coming from 21 countries as well as throughout the United States.

The speakers will include Thomas Goetz, executive editor of Wired Magazine; John Bluford, CEO of Truman Medical Centers; Simon Sinek, a leadership and motivational author; Daniel Kraft, executive director of the FutureMed program at Singularity University; Neal Patterson, Cerner CEO; and Farzad Mostashari, national health information technology coordinator at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
