Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway has captured about 16 percent of the total gaming revenue in the Kansas City market since it opened in February, according to a regulatory filing from International Speedway Corp.
International Speedway, which owns Kansas Speedway, invested about $145 million of the $411 million it cost to build the 95,000-square-foot Hollywood Casino. It opened Feb. 3 in Kansas City, Kan., with 2,000 slot machines and 52 table games.
