When it comes to the development process, Riverside rips through the red tape faster and cheaper than any community in the metropolitan area, according to a new report.
It’s an aggressive attitude much appreciated by Nathaniel Hagedorn, president and CEO of NorthPoint Development, the firm developing the Riverside Horizons Business Park along the Missouri River.
“It’s huge,” Hagedorn said Wednesday. “We just won a large tenant that will occupy a 200,000-square-foot building simply because of the city’s ability to deliver.
“We got all the approvals we need in two weeks; there’s no other municipality in the metro like that.” Read more on Kansas City Star.
