River City Casino Resolves Property Value Disputes

St. Louis County Assessor Jake Zimmerman and Pinnacle Entertainment, owner of the River City Casino in Lemay, have reached an agreement regarding 2010, 2011 and 2012 property value appeals brought by the casino.

The total market value for property owned by the casino in 2010 is $235.1 million, which consists of $57.7 million in personal property and $177.4 million in real estate. In 2011, the total market value of the property is $247.1 million, consisting of $69.7 million in personal property and $177.4 million in real estate. This year, the casino property is valued at $235 million, consisting of $57.6 million in personal property and $177.4 million in real estate. The value is lower in 2012 due to depreciation of certain personal property assets, according the assessor’s office. Read more on St. Louis Business Journal.
