Isle of Capri Opens Cape Girardeau Casino

Isle of Capri says its new casino in Cape Girardeau drew more than 3,600 customers in its first six hours of operation. The $135 million casino opened yesterday morning after the Missouri Gaming Commission awarded the gambling hall the state’s 13th, and final, gaming license.

Cape Girardeau is about 120 miles south of St. Louis.
