Kansas City area homebuilders experienced their busiest October for new-home construction permits in five years, a survey shows.
Permits for single-family homes totaled 331 last month, according to the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City’s monthly residential building report. October’s results were down from September’s 379 permits, still represented the second-best month this year.
Last month was also significantly higher than the 205 permits issued in October 2011. Read more on Kansas City Star.
