Bank Fraud Brings Guilty Plea in Kansas City

Clint Dukes Mayview pleaded guilty on Wednesday to bank fraud that resulted in the loss of $2 million.

Dukes, the owner of Dukes Auto Repair in Higginsville from 2004 to 2011, admitted in federal court in Kansas City to falsifying financial disclosure statements in a scheme to defraud First Community Bank, U.S. Bank and First Central Bank and obtain about $2.8 million in loans.
