Energizer Holding Inc.’s previously announced restructuring will cost it $250 million in one-time charges and $50 million in incremental capital expenditures, according to a regulatory filing Thursday.
Of the one-time charges, $175 million will be cash, and $120 million to $140 million will occur in fiscal 2013, according to the Securities and Exchange Commission filing.
The company also expects to incur additional incremental capital expenditures of $50 million, primarily in information technology. Energizer said it has not yet determined other costs, but it expects the majority of one-time charges associated with the restructuring to be recorded in the next year to 18 months.
