Home Foreclosures Fall In U.S., Up Slightly In Missouri

Home foreclosures in the United States fell 3 percent in 2012, the second straight year of improvement since the peak of the crisis, according to data collected by Realty Trac. The real estate research firm said foreclosure activity decreased in 25 states in 2012. Both Kansas and Missouri reported small increases in foreclosures last year from 2011. However, both states reported declines in mortgage problems in December and the fourth quarter last year.
