Kansas City Organization Becomes Partner in Federal Overseas Trade Program

The Overseas Private Investment Corp. on Monday named the World Trade Center Kansas City to a partnership program designed to support overseas business opportunities.

The Kansas City organization serves as a regional clearinghouse for information about global commerce, and is part of a network of more than 330 centers in 100 countries.

The Overseas Private Investment Corp. is the federal government’s development finance institution. It works with trade, business and foreign policy organizations to generate overseas trade and financing activity.
