KC Chamber Backs Health Levy

The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce backs two April 2 ballot proposals in Kansas City related to continuing the health levy and removing nonprofit exemptions to the convention and tourism tax. The business advocacy group supports the nine-year continuation of the health levy that helps finance Truman Medical Centers, ambulance services and public health facilities.
