Trends: KC Metro Grocers Changing To Remain Competitive

When it comes to picking up their weekly groceries, Kansas Citians have more options than ever before, and more are coming. Convenience stores are converting more of their space to prepared foods. New single store mom-and-pops are catering to the surrounding neighborhoods. Large natural food chains are entering the mix with their first area locations, and others are opening new area stores. As for Kansas City’s longtime chain stores, they are expanding in size, renovating, or moving to ever-better locations to remain competitive.
