Sprint Loses $1.3 Billion In Q4

Sprint Nextel Corp. shed 337,000 subscribers in the last three months of 2012 but kept its losses in line with the same quarter a year ago. More than 1 million wireless phone customers dropped off Sprint’s aging Nextel network that it plans to shut down this summer. About half of them switched to the Overland Park-based company’s vibrant Sprint network that is undergoing a massive upgrade.
