Highway Commission Selects Contractors For Major Road Projects

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded more than $140 million in contracts for road work in the Kansas City and St. Louis regions during its monthly meeting. The commissioners appointed by the governor selected Page Constructors Joint Venture to design and build eight miles of four lane divided highway from Route 94 in St. Peters to Interstate 64 in Lake Saint Louis, an $118 million project. Columbia-based Emery Sapp & Sons Inc. was awarded the contract for work at the Interstate 29 and Tiffany Springs Parkway interchange north of Kansas City, a $10.5 million project.
