Former Springfield Business Journal Employee Charged With Theft

A former office manager at the Springfield Business Journal is accused of stealing money over more than two years.

The Greene County Prosecutor has charged Jennie Tritch, 33, with one count of theft and two counts of forgery. Tritch worked for the paper for six years as an office manager in charge of payroll.

Tritch allegedly stole $96,000 from the publication between August 2009 and January 2012. She was fired from the paper in January 2012.
