Second Snowstorm Hits Missouri, Accumulations Heavy

The second major winter storm in less than a week caused power outages and is expected to continue through this afternoon. The storm dropped 6 to 10 inches of snow in Kansas City, with another five inches possible; about 6 inches in the Columbia area, with about three more predicted; and 5 to 7 inches in the Springfield area. The storm tapered off west of Jefferson City and turned to rain in the St. Louis area.
