Brewer’s Response To Quality Challenges Inadequate, Marketing Experts

Anheuser-Busch should consider taking a more aggressive strategy in its public response to a spate of lawsuits that allege some of its beers, including its flagship Budweiser, contain less alcohol than the amount listed on the labels, marketing experts say. Taco Bell’s handling of a lawsuit over ground beef two years ago as a good model to follow, some said. Beginning today, A-B defended its brands against the allegations by taking full-page ads in newspapers across the country.
