Google Fiber Adds 3-D Programming To KC Lineup

Google Fiber has been undercutting Kansas City Internet carriers on price since the summer, but now the nontraditional video service is upping the competition on low-cost channel fees. Google Inc. announced it will offer a swath of 3-D programming to its Internet-based video lineup. That includes the addition of ESPN 3D and 3net — at half the price that Time Warner Cable Inc. charges in Kansas City and other markets.
