KC Tech Companies Push Basketball-Themed Promos

Technology companies in Kansas City are planning promotions in conjunction with the college basketball tournaments the city will host over the next two weeks, when the Big 12 Men’s College Basketball Championship and the second and third rounds of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship will be played at the Sprint Center.

Time Warner Cable will be giving away free access to its WiFi in the Power & Light District, a bar and restaurant district located next to the Sprint Center, from March 13-24.

Front Flip, a company that makes a mobile app designed to improve customer loyalty, will pit local restaurants against each other to determine which one has the most loyal fan base
