Panera Debuts “Meal Of Shared Responsibility” In St. Louis

Panera customers in St. Louis are getting first crack at the restaurant chain’s newest pay-what-you-can concept: a nutrient-dense turkey chili available at the restaurant’s regular locations.

Starting today, customers can order the chili at all of Panera’s St. Louis-area stores for $6, or whatever they can afford.

Dubbed the “Meal of Shared Responsibility,” the chili was designed to fill a person’s nutritional needs for the day, even if it’s the only meal for the day.
