Former St. Louis County Insurance Agent Sentenced For Fraud

A former insurance broker will serve nine years in prison for insurance fraud, a St. Louis County Circuit judge has ruled.

Wendi Ann Glass pleaded guilty April 1 to five counts of stealing, six counts of forgery, eight counts of commission of fraudulent insurance act and one count of attempted stealing. She was sentenced to three years on each count.

The Missouri Department of Insurance investigated Glass after receiving complaints. In 2011 the state revoked Glass’ license as well as that of her company, VMG Inc.
