For Missouri, $30 Million Rides On Passage Of Driver’s License Bill

Missouri lawmakers have to act quickly to avoid losing $30 million or more in federal transportation funds.
Legislators have two weeks to pass a bill that would make the state’s rules for commercial driver’s licenses consistent with federal guidelines.
If the state does not pass the legislation, it could lose $30 million in federal funds in the first year and an additional $60 million per year for each year afterwards.
