Southwest Increases Flights At Lambert

Southwest Airlines, the busiest carrier at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, has increased its daily flights by 8 percent since May 2012, up to 95 combined departing and arriving flights this month.

Dallas-based Southwest added flights between St. Louis and Dallas Love Field and Los Angeles International Airport in April. The carrier also added flights to Baltimore, Las Vegas, and Chicago Midway in March.

While Southwest also reduced flights between St. Louis and Orlando, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale last month, the net change in April and May was an additional seven flights.
