Boeing Open To Raising Dreamliner Production

In a development that could affect the company’s Missouri operations, Boeing’s CEO is open to another increase in production rates for the 787 Dreamliner so the world’s largest planemaker can shrink a backlog of 840 jets. Output of the 787 is already supposed to double in 2013 to 10 a month, and Boeing chief James McNerney didn’t give a possible goal for production of the planes. Boeing Defense, Space & Security is based in Hazelwood with 14,730 employees.
