Magazine Names Kansas City Nation’s Most Affordable Getaway
Travel & Leisure magazine has ranked Kansas City the most affordable getaway in the nation, based on a survey of readers who ranked 35 cities by qualities such as fine dining and bargains on cultural offerings.
The survey was released the same day that TD Ameritrade Holding Corp. released a survey that said 78 percent of Americans plan to take a summer vacation despite the economic uncertainties.
