KC Council Approves Development Plans

The Kansas City Council has approved a pair of development agreements that will help bring Leawood, Kan.-based A.B. May Co. to Kansas City, Mo. and start the construction of a 137-unit apartment project in the River Market. The council approved a $12 million relocation assistance package for A.B. May and a $2 million loan to the apartment’s developer RMW Apartments LLC. The A.B. May agreement will help the company move 165 employees to an 82,000-square-foot space.
