Private Jet Provider To Open Terminal At Lambert-St. Louis

Jet Linx is spending more than $1 million over 10 years to lease the now-vacant Missouri Air National Guard facility at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport and offer a private jet service beginning next month. Jet Linx plans to hire about 100 people for JetLinx St. Louis.

The company said the use of private jet service has increased about 10 percent since 2008. There already are Jet Linx operations in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Indianapolis, Omaha, San Antonio and Scottsdale, Ariz. Businesses will be able to secure private flights outside of that network. The Lambert director said the airport is placing a significant emphasis on diversifying its bases of aviation-related businesses.
