Twitter, Square Co-Founder Launches Forum Series In Hometown

Technology entrepreneur Jack Dorsey returns to St. Louis on Thursday to moderate Square’s “Let’s Talk,” a forum for business owners and entrepreneurs to share what they’ve learned and tips based on their experiences. Dorsey catapulted to a global stage in 2006 with his role as a co-founder of Twitter, the online micro-messaging service that’s now used by millions around the world. But it’s Dorsey’s latest venture that’s bringing one of the country’s youngest billionaires back to St. Louis, where his parents still live. Dorsey is the CEO of Square, the company that in 2009 introduced a small device that plugs into a smartphone or iPad and processes credit card payments.
