Truman Medical Centers Receives Award For Use Of Cerner IT

Kansas City’s Truman Medical Centers received the Grace Award, a national award given by the American Health Information Management Association in recognition of the innovative use of information technology in delivering health care.

Truman was recognized for its use of Lighthouse Solutions, a product made by North Kansas City-based health care technology company Cerner. The system decreases hospital stays by tracking and helping prevent patient falls and other ailments.
