MoDOT Study: Branson Airport Boosts Economy, Draws Visitors

Branson Airport has contributed more than $91 million to the regional economy since opening in 2009, according to a study conducted by the Missouri Department of Transportation.

The airport has created more than 1,460 jobs with a total payroll exceeding $35 million. The study was completed to determine the benefit of Missouri’s regional airports, following Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
