Sprint Selling $2.5 Billion In Notes, Looks To Aid Network Development

Overland Park, Kan.-based Sprint Corp. announced Monday that it plans to sell $2.5 billion in notes, which could raise funds to help bankroll future network expansion.

The nation’s third-largest wireless carrier said it plans to use the net proceeds from the offering “for general corporate purposes,” including “retirement or service requirements of outstanding debt and network expansion and modernization,” according to a statement.
