Boulevard Brewing Company has announced plans for Boulevardia, a street festival that the Kansas City-based brewery hopes to make an annual event.
A craft beer festival featuring a variety of national and international breweries will be the highlight of the three-day event, set to take place June 13-15 of 2014 in Kansas City’s West Bottoms neighborhood. Boulevardia will also feature a variety of food, art, music, handmade goods for sale and other attractions.
“The time is right to showcase the many entrepreneurial and artistic talents our city has to offer,” Jeremy Ragonese, Boulevard’s director of marketing, said in a statement “Conversations about starting up a truly great regional craft beer and food festival have been happening for years, and with the help of like-minded leaders throughout the community, the concept is finally becoming reality.”
Boulevard is working with O’Neill Marketing and Event Management, a Kansas City-based firm whose event clients include the Big 12 Championship and the Kansas City Irish Fest, on the development and execution of the festival.
