Mercy Building Hospital In Rural Missouri

This summer, Mercy will begin construction of a 19,800-square-foot medical building on eight acres in Sullivan, which is about 68 miles southwest of St. Louis along Interstate 44, in Franklin and Crawford counties. Mercy already has physicians in Sullivan in two locations. The expansion will bring more doctors and services to the area, according to system officials.

Mercy patients will have access to additional specialists, including oncologists, pain management specialists and pulmonologists. Just last month, Mercy broke ground on a $12 million, 23,300-square-foot pediatric center in Cottleville.

Mercy is the nation’s sixth-largest Catholic health care system with annual revenue of $4 billion. It operates in four states.
