Craft brewing in Missouri accounts for 6,622 jobs and has an economic impact of $612.4 million, according to a study by the Brewers Association.

Kansas City-based Boulevard Brewing Co. is the largest craft brewery in Missouri, and ranked 12th in the nation. Nationwide, craft brewing has an economic impact of $33.9 billion, creating 363,703 jobs with an average salary of $33,806.

The Brewers Association figures include the movement of beer from brewers through distributors to retailers, including non-beer products at brewpubs.
