Columbia College Names Two Finalists For President

Two finalists have been named for the position of president at Columbia College, a nonprofit institution that was led by  Gerald Brouder for 18 years before his retirement on Aug. 1.

Scott Dalrymple is the dean of the School of Liberal Arts at Excelsior in Albany, N.Y. Prior to that, he was the chair of the department of business administration and accounting at Hartwick College, located in Oneonta, N.Y. He was also a senior financial analyst for National Fuel, according to Excelsior’s website.

Randall Hanna has been the chancellor of the Florida college system since 2011, according to Forbes. Prior to that, he was the chairman and managing shareholder of the legal firm Bryant Miller Olive. Hanna was also the director of Hancock Bank of Florida.

The finalists will visit the St. Louis and Columbia campuses between Jan. 12 and Jan. 14. The forums will be available by live stream to reach Columbia College’s 30,000 students across campuses in 13 states.
