Post Holdings Inc. completed its acquisition of pasta manufacturer Dakota Growers Pasta Company Inc. on Wednesday, according to a release. Post was planning to pay $370 million in cash at the closing when it announced the acquisition in September. The company expected that the transaction would contribute about $300 million in net sales.
In December, the company announced plans for two more acquisitions: Golden Boy Foods Ltd. for $320 million and Dymatize Enterprises LLC for $380 million.
Post Holdings, based in St. Louis, is the parent company of Post Foods LLC, Attune Foods LLC, Dakota Growers Pasta Company Inc. and Premier Nutrition Corporation.
