The wife of Henry Rizzo, a former Missouri State representative and former chairman of the Jackson County Legislature, is suing Central Bank of Kansas City. Silvia Rizzo alleges that Central Bank of Kansas City acted fraudulently by misrepresenting paperwork Rizzo was signing, telling her she would not be personally liable for a consolidation loan in May 2012 for her husband’s businesses, when in actuality she would.

Rizzo alleges that she had signed many documents in the past for previous business loans made by her husband, all related to signing over her rights to collateral that she shared ownership of with her husband. She alleges the bankers told her the documentation for the new loan was no different, when it was different, since it made her personally liable for the new loan.
