Two St. Louis-based companies with a focus on IT staffing are merging, according to a release.
Stockell Consulting Inc., established in 1983, offers services including project management, business analysis, application development, help desk and infrastructure support services. Aurora Systems Inc., founded in 1995, delivers permanent placement talent acquisition services and near-shore software development.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The merger will give Stockell, which has its office in Chesterfield, nearly 180 employees. Stockell will also keep most of Aurora’s employees, according to Craig Clayton, the company’s president and chief operating officer. Stockell had 158 total full-time equivalent employees, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.
Aurora’s owners will retire, Clayton said.
