Grantham University is transferring its administrative headquarters from the Zona Rosa shopping center in Kansas City, Mo., to the Southlake Technology Park in Lenexa, Kan. The university will move in March from about 40,000 square feet to 66,000 square feet in space recently vacated by Freightquote.

Grantham, a private institution offering online distance-learning degrees, serves more than 17,000 students nationwide. It employs about 350 administrative, faculty and support personnel at its administrative headquarters.

A spokesman for the Kansas Department of Commerce, said the department “cannot comment at this time” on whether state incentives were granted to Grantham for moving to the Kansas side of the Kansas City metro area.
